Requirement: ILS / LSA Engineer required to carry out Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) resulting in Logistic Support Analysis Records (LSAR) to agreed standards, utilising Raytheon Eagle software package. To carry out studies (under the direction of the ILS manager) to ensure that the systems being developed meet or exceed the specified reliability, maintainability and availability requirements, recommending design changes as appropriate. To perform Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
Essential:
Extensive practical experience in the creation and maintenance of LSA records by utilising specialist LSAR computer database, preferably Raytheon Eagle, in accordance with agreed standards (E.g., Def Stan 00-60, Mil-Std 1388-2b). Practical experience in LORA. Desirable:
Practical aerospace engineering background, preferably military aviation. Understanding of spares modelling using software tools such as Aspect or Opus. Experience of Reliability and Maintainability analysis. Experience of FRACAS / DRACAS and performing trend analysis of results.
